Sometimes Skype has troubles to login. Sometimes SkypeOut can’t be dialing out successfully even you can login Skype or you need to wait for a long time to talk to contacts via SkypeOut. Although Skype does have those problems very seldom, but you will be frustrated when you want to make Skype calls.

The button is “Skype recovery” button in the option page of product system tray icons when its software is running. Sometimes you need to give a second try if the first try doesn’t work and follow the pop out message to proceed.

Regintech’s Windows based enterprise Skype gateway products SkyGW4C-S( for PBX trunk lines or phones) and SkyGWO( for PBX extension lines or carrier landlines) also have similar button called “Skype Speed Up” button. Sometimes you need to give a second try if the first try doesn’t work and follow the pop out message to proceed.

For people without using our products, you can try to fix those problems manually by delete shared.xml under folder like C:\Users\GW1\AppData\Roaming\Skype. Then run Skype again.
